The MSF's members are shaping the multi-service technologies that will define
how the world communicates in the 21st century and the MSF is proud to be
a part of the process.
Forward-looking companies recognize that interoperability is the cornerstone of
building the networks that will power the Internet economy. The service
providers and system suppliers that make up the membership of the MSF are
committed to developing and promoting Implementation Agreements that will
accelerate the reality of open-architecture, multiservice switching systems.
Through the cooperation fostered among its members, the MSF is working to
accelerate the specification and deployment of multiservice networks.
The technical information developed and shared by MSF members benefits both individual
system suppliers and service providers. Through its technical working groups,
meetings and standards efforts, the MSF is making a real impact on the way
that its members do business. By providing a forum for sharing ideas and
opening dialogue between carriers and vendors, the MSF plays a vital role
in building the bridges needed to accelerate the global development of multiservice
networks.
The MSF welcomes new members who want to be a part of setting the pace for one of the most critical areas of communications technology today. I believe that the MSF can play a pivotal role in changing how the world communicates and I would invite any company with a vested interest in the success of interoperable switching systems of the future to join us in our efforts.
Sincerely,
Kyu-Ouk Lee
President
