Naseem Khan
Principal Member of Technical Staff
Verizon
Naseem Khan, a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Verizon Labs, is responsible for the converged wireless and wireline network architecture.
His recent work experience includes network convergence strategy, migration to IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem), and VoIP network design and integration with FTTP.
He has many years of experience in the Telecom R & D in the areas that include broadband networks, voice, data, and video networks, network performance and simulation,
reliability analysis, and network management. Previously, he worked for companies including AT&T/Lucent Bell Labs and Motorola. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science with
Master's in EE, and has published more than two dozen papers in technical journals, conference proceedings, and standards. Naseem sits on the MSF (Multservice Forum)
Board of Directors, and participates in 3GPP and ATIS.
