Instructions to Obtain Invitation Letter
For MSF Meeting in Shanghai

In order to obtain an entry Visa to enter China, an Invitation Letter from a sponsoring company must be obtained. Ericsson China will provide the invitation letter for MSF members who plan to attend the MSF Meeting in Shanghai, April 1-3, 2008. Below are the instructions to obtain the invitation letter:

1. To obtain the invitation letter, you MUST complete this form, APPLICATION FOR INVITATION.

2. Once you have completed the application, please email or fax the Application for Invitation to Julianne Fitzpatrick:

3. All Applications for Invitation MUST be received by 5:00pm PT on February 15.

4. Ericsson China will process your Application for Invitation and they will send you an Invitation Letter which must accompany your Visa Application form.

5. When you receive the Invitation Letter from Ericsson China, you MUST immediately contact the Chinese Embassy in your country for instructions on obtaining an F-1 Single Entry Visa.

6. NOTE: Visas to enter China are required for many but not all countries. You are solely responsible for contacting the Chinese Embassy in your country to understand the requirements for entry and to obtain a visa, if required.

Tip: There are many companies worldwide that provide assistance in obtaining a visa. Check listings in your area for assistance.
