MSF Logo Usage Policy

General Guidelines
All MSF Logos (MSF Logo, MSF Member Logo, MSF Supports Logo, and MSF GMI Logo) shall not be revised or rearranged in any way. This includes using the corporate insignia without type, adding figures or letters to the insignia, removing and rearranging type or insignia, placing the logo within any other figure or using it as a part of any other graphic.

When the MSF Logos are reduced or enlarged all spacing shall remain proportional. Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files can be downloaded from a member protected area of the MSF Web Site. Please use EPS files for layouts rather than photocopies of originals. The MSF Logos may be used in monochrome. When printed in monochrome the entire logo shall be black.
The MSF Logos may be used in color only with the correct MSF corporate colors. The MSF Logos use two colors for printing (PMS 3025 and PMS Black) and in order to use the color version, you must obtain a copy from the MSF Secretariat.

Usage of MSF Member Logo
All MSF Principal member organizations may imprint or affix the MSF Member Logo on stationary, publications, documents and other materials provided that the organization is a member in good standing and the usage is in context. If the organization is not a member in good standing it may not use the MSF Member Logo and must withdraw any marketing and/or promotional material utilizing the MSF Member logo from the marketplace until such time as the organization renews its membership.

The MSF Member Logo consists of the corporate MSF Logo combined with the type "Member". These elements shall not be revised or rearranged in any way. This includes using the corporate insignia without type, adding figures or letters to the insignia, removing and rearranging type or insignia, placing the logo within any other figure or using it as a part of any other graphic. MSF's insignia should not be used without the type "Member".

Usage of MSF Supports Logo
All MSF Principal member organizations may imprint or affix the MSF Supports Logo on stationary, publications, documents and other materials provided that the organization is a member in good standing and the usage is in context (see license agreement provided for this program). If the organization is not a member in good standing it may not use the MSF Supports Logo and must withdraw any marketing and/or promotional material utilizing the MSF Supports Logo from the marketplace until such time as the organization renews its membership.

The MSF Supports Logo consists of the corporate MSF Logo combined with the type "Supports Release 1 Architecture". These elements shall not be revised or rearranged in any way. This includes using the corporate insignia without type, adding figures or letters to the insignia, removing and rearranging type or insignia, placing the logo within any other figure or using it as a part of any other graphic. MSF's insignia should not be used without the type "Supports Release 1 Architecture".

Note: Within the MSF license agreement discussing MSF Implementation Guidelines, reference is made to an MSF Trademark. Usage and general guideline information for the MSF Trademark is available on the MSF website, and is not included in this policy.

Usage of MSF GMI Logo
All participating organizations in GMI may imprint or affix the MSF GMI Logo on stationary, publications, documents and other materials provided that the organization is a participant in good standing and the usage is in context. A participating organization is recognized as such when the MSF Secretariat has signed and returned a GMI contract.

The GMI Logo consists of the corporate MSF Logo combined with the type "Global MSF Interoperability 20XX ". These elements shall not be revised or rearranged in any way. This includes using the corporate insignia without type, adding figures or letters to the insignia, removing and rearranging type or insignia, placing the logo within any other figure or using it as a part of any other graphic. MSF's insignia should not be used without the type "Global MSF Interoperability 20XX".

Usage of MSF Logo
All usage of the MSF Logo must be approved in writing, in advance by the MSF Secretariat. A copy or sample layout of any such proposed MSF Logo usage must be sent to the MSF Secretariat for review and approval. The MSF Logo shall not be used to indicate product endorsement by the MSF. It may however, be used to indicate participation in a particular conference or event.
